Lean 5S Products is a woman-owned business founded in 2016 by Lesley Francoeur. The company was purchased in 2024 and moved to Sioux Falls, SD and were is continues as a woman-owned business.
Sonya and her team have an immense passion for Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing in general. When the company came up for sale, she was ecstatic at the opportunity to buy a business that allowed her to help other manufacturers grow their businesses.
Aware of the need for businesses to reduce waste and improve efficiency we are proud to work closely with our customers to produce custom shadow boards, cleaning stations, PPE & Safety Boards, production & KPI boards, and problem-solving boards.

The size and amount of equipment to be organized on the boards will determine the board size. Our sales team are happy to advise on best practice. We have highly qualified Lean experts on hand to tailor your requirements to get the best efficiency results. Want to include any accessories such as document holders or rotas? Why not? We are happy to work with your design team or relax and let us come up with some inspiration for you.
DESIGN
Unlimited design revisions mean you don’t have to compromise on look and feel of your boards. We can incorporate logos, branding, text and photos. Expert and experienced design team have created hundreds of SHADOW BOARDS and know what works in the real world. We understand the layout of equipment. No good placing a wet dripping mop at the top of a board now is there. Upload your logos, files here.

Tap into our experience. Vast “Shadow library” of cleaning equipment and tooling to use. Got specific, unusual tools? No problem. We can vectorize and apply dimensions of tool outlines fast and efficiently and like you we keep striving for continuous improvement using technology to improve your designs.

Custom means exactly that. You don't have to try to make something off-the-shelf work. Our solutions are built around the way you operate. What is 5S?
Sort (seiri)
Remove unnecessary items from the work area. Attach removal tags to infrequently used items.
Set in order (seiton)
Customize the work area to improve efficiency. Keep important materials nearby. Implement visual organization to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
Shine (seiso)
Clean the work area, equipment and tools. Find and eliminate sources of contamination.
Standardize (seiketsu)
Create a standardized and consistent 5S workflow. Assign tasks and create schedules so that everyone knows their responsibility.
Sustain/systemize (shitsuke)
Ensure that 5S is a long-term, company-wide goal. Analyze results, hold team meetings and train workers on the importance of 5S.
